God Working! quick tid-bit

notes from a sermon watching tonight:

plan, place, provision, purpose w00t! (ex, gen 22)
plan - (v1) "take your son your only son and offer him to me"
place - (v3,4,9) Mt Moriah
provision - (v8) God will provide! (the key is to know you are in God's Will!) as they come up one side, the ram is coming up the other side! the ram was caught up (which can be deadly) so God took the fight out of the blessing! (hint people: ask God to take the fight of the blessings!)
purpose - the whole purpose was to prepare a mountain and place for the crucifixion!

Speaking audibly is very important! (your prayers of 3 months sounds like a continuous prayer to him in eternity!)

when god gives you a word , follow it exactly (do not take away OR add to it! just the specifics!)
> bk of gen Joseph goes to Jacob , tell his dream (11 sheaves bowing down & sun and moon bowing down)
>> Joseph seen the moon, but it was not so because his mom died before the situation bows. the moon was not part of the original dream but was part of the interpretation
>> Joseph goes to Israel & 10 brothers come - sending them back, 10 brothers come and doesn't reveal. when and only when 11 brothers show up then did Joseph reveal who he is. because he could not do it with 10 thats not what God showed him.

plan, place, provision, purpose w00t! (example, ax 27 - Paul starts out as a prisoner)
PLAN: to appeal to Ceaser
PLACE: to go to Rome!
PROVISION: (came after disaster. when you have the plan & place then provision is always next!)
shows that you might get side tracked, goes from resisting wind to side track wind to a dangerous wind.
(v19) throw stuff overboard
> Paul is bit by a snake & is not sick, this bring attention to him & he begins to do miracles!
28:7-9 publius is healed
28:10 & 11 they give him all the stuff they needed for the trip to Rome! Even got the Cadillac yacht of the day!
28:16 Paul is given the ability to wear when he wants & has a roman soldier to where ever he goes.
28:30&31 paul has a house for two years at his own expense, preaching Jesus without being hindered
PURPOSE:
Paul was helped out in Rome & was blessed!!

Thats the notes i took tonight, hope the help some one!!

Last part at altar call:
1 John 1:5 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

believe he hears you when you ask & the petition is done! believe you receive those things before you receive them

People will talk, there is a solution to that....

i almost put this as my Facebook status but i think it is better here. to all those who check in from time to time - this is for you! Remember to pray for me!

(self written) theory o' the day: people are going to talk so be assured of that. the question is this, when they are commenting as they will are you going to be proud of your achievement or attempt at achievement versus your lack of even trying? The most regretted things in life is not that which one has done (even failed attempts) it is that which has not done or too scared of to try.

what is 75 years (est. avg. life time) on this earth being dictated by people who are not even sure of them self in the first place (obviously, they don't or they wouldn't try to dictate other's life)? those who matter don't mind & those who mind don't matter.

simply put ~ Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you've imagined. As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler. Henry David Thoreau

(hint: your solution, give them something awesome to talk about! ^_^)

quick update & Joke!

just wanted to post, i do at least want to do one post a month but hopefully more. School starts tomorrow (suppose to be on of the harder semesters!). God has blessed me during my two week break! Exciting things are happening in the church world & spirit world. The conference i went to i met many exciting people and talked to two youth pastors in my region! The study i am working on now is huge but i do hope to study out more things here in the future! i desire your prayers to keep this blog updated more regularly!

i now leave you with a joke its named "clever dog"

A wealthy man decided to go on a safari in Africa. He took his faithful pet dachshund along for company. One day, the dachshund starts chasing butterflies and before long the dachshund discovers that he is lost.

So, wandering about, he notices a leopard heading rapidly in his direction with the obvious intention of having him for lunch. The dachshund thinks, "I'm in deep trouble now!" Then he noticed some bones on the ground close by, and immediately settles down to chew on the bones with his back to the approaching cat.

Just as the leopard is about to leap, the dachshund exclaims loudly, "Boy, that was one delicious leopard. I wonder if there are any more around here."

Hearing this, the leopard halts his attack in mid-stride, as a look of terror comes over him, and slinks away into the trees.

"Whew," says the leopard. "That was close. That dachshund nearly had me."

Meanwhile, a monkey, who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby tree, figures he can put this knowledge to good use and trade it for protection from the leopard. So, off he goes.

But the dachshund saw him heading after the leopard with great speed, and figured that something must be up.

The monkey soon catches up with the leopard, spills the beans and strikes a deal for himself with the leopard. The leopard is furious at being made a fool of and says, "Here monkey, hop on my back and see what's going to happen to that conniving canine."

Now the dachshund sees the leopard coming with the monkey on his back, and thinks, "What am I going to do now?" But instead of running, the dog sits down with his back to his attackers, pretending he hasn't seen them yet. And, just when they get close enough to hear, the dachshund says:

"Where's that darn monkey? Sent him off half an hour ago to bring me another leopard."

MERCY!

just short post today...

through looking in the bible it is clear that those who do not show mercy do not deserve mercy. David was a man after God's own heart but he was not a perfect man, he was far from it. David, remember, sent a man off to war so he could have his wife BUT David Had a repentant heart constantly.

Matthew 6:12-15 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. (13) And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. (14) For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: (15) But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

There are many different scriptures that apply here but just wanted to share & i believe this realty gives perception on grudges we hold on to!!

just something to ponder & to think about!!

God Bless, until next time

Thought for the day – Monday July 18,2010

i do not plan on doing this daily but i thought this would be nice to post since it was on my mind today… this is what i woke up thinking about and developed it while showering and wrote it down before i left for a clinical day. This was wrote at 5 am this morning, barely edited – so i hope it makes as much sense as it did typing it.

**I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.  ecc 9:11**

i woke up with this scripture on my mind today, i am not sure why. There are other quotes that come with this one - one is actually my favorite it is simply "don't take life too seriously no one gets out alive anyway". I have also read this scripture wrong a few times it thought it said "the race isn't too swift" and i interpreted it as humans are dumb, which may be true but its not in this scripture. Today's thought i guess is this is why patience & persistence is so valuable in a persons life ("patience you possess your soul").

The other thing i would like to allude to is a marathon on a track (goes around a football field ,  its 400 meters) and if you think of you raising against some one and start out at the same place (for theory finish line) the outer lanes do travel slower to do the distance different. each lane goes through the exact same areas and goes through curves and each have their own difficulty in different places.

Persistence & patience , because the race isn't to the swift!
