(14) And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
(15) I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
(16) So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
(17) Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
(18) I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
(19) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
(20) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
(21) To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
(22) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Today's environment, especially the church is in this spirit, The church is lukewarm,attempting to be self-suffeient when we are told not to be. It frightens me we are seeing less people repenting, being filled with the Holy Ghost, Baptized in Jesus Name then before. it is comforting to know we are in the edge, the brink, of revival and there is going to be an explosion! I am happy MY generation is going to see an awesome revival. The economic woes happening right now i believe is to cause the people who relied on Jesus at once upon a time has the spirit shown in verse 17 (above) and those people will not look up until they are flat on their back and have no other way. To God i pray that i will never be that way, in the best of times i want him to be my everything.
The latter Rain is coming, i am excited - the biggest domed building in the continent of Africa is a tongue talking, Holy Ghost shouting church! If all of America's got a sudden hunger for church the statistic i heard is 90% wouldn't have a place to set - to that statistic i say the church has no walls, the church isn't a meeting two times a week, IF the church is bound by walls THEN we are in serious trouble because that is not the church that is going in the rapture.
Intersting fact about the latter rain is this, its rain, compared to the first rain (acts ch 2+) we will experience the same, but greater, events they did - outpouring of the Holy Ghost (tounges) and seeing mamed (deformed, amputated) limbs comming back as if they never were harmed! The Healing revivals will be in full swing again - GLORY TO GOD! That latter rain has already started over seas in the east and i believe that very awesome presence is comming to America, if it takes an economic disaster to do it - God is full in control! what do i think about it?
Come Lord Jesus Come!! - HE will not leave us or forsake us, as long as we lean on him, as long as he is your everything in everything, you all in all, your alpha, your omega! He is faithful and just to do all or more then we can ever ask for! where is the key for all this? 2 chr 7:14 .. say we have to ...(1) be humble, (2)pray, (3) seek His face & (4)turn from our wicked ways! we must do ALL four it the promise will not come!
